Source capture systems, such as welding fume extractors, are effective when it is possible to capture contaminants directly at the point of creation. However, in many situations, for example when welding or grinding large structures or moving components, source capture is not practical or even feasible.
QleanAir FS 70 Welding is an ambient air cleaning solution. Our air cleaner continuously cleans the air in the entire workspace by recirculation, providing effective protection for all employees, both the welders and other operators, and improving overall air quality in the production hall. This makes FS 70 Welding an ideal solution in environments where source capture cannot be applied, or as complement to existing extraction systems to further improve the air quality in the facility.
FS 70 Welding is versatile and can be customized to the specific needs of your facility, thanks to its available accessories. At QleanAir, we provide a shared service responsibility to ensure reliable and cost-efficient performance. The two outer filter stages can be changed by the customer as needed, while the two final and critical filter stages are replaced by QleanAir. This ensures system functionality, consistent air quality, and cost efficiency, giving complete peace of mind to customers. FS 70 Welding works independently of the ventilation system and uses the standard power socket, and it can easily be relocated if necessary thanks to it being equipped with wheels.

1. Air inlet
FS 70 Welding has a large air inlet on the front of the unit to maximize intake volume and to reduce the risk of filter clogging.

2. Filtration of welding fumes
Using 4 filtration steps, an incombustible filter pad and metal mesh separates coarse dust in the front and a multi-stage mechanical filtration separates fine particles in the back to effectively removed welding fumes from the air stream.

3. Cleaned air is returned to the environment
After the air is cleaned from airborne particles, it is returned to the room by an adjustable outlet for optimal recirculation or diverted by optional tubes and diffusors to a specific area.
